1st Annual Teach Like Me Day

The First-Ever Teach Like Me Day was held on May 6th, 2014. We chose that day because it was also National Teacher Appreciation Day. We figured the best teacher appreciation begins with teachers appreciating themselves.

On that day, we asked educators all over the world to share/tweet/post what they teach and why they LOVE teaching and include the hashtag "#TeachLikeMe". We also asked supporters to change their profile pictures to one of our custom logos. The result was amazing and newsfeeds on popular social media sites were filled with teachers sharing positivity about the profession they love.

Non-educators were also getting in on the fun. We had family members, colleges and support staff sharing why they supported their teacher friends and family.

The Second Annual Teach Like Me Day will be on May 5th, 2015.
