#TeachLikeMe Day 2018

Our annual #TeachLikeMe Day is on Tuesday, May 8th this year. It's been a tough year for public educators. Amidst walkouts, strikes, and an increasing list of challenges we face in the classroom, it's hard to be a school teacher these days. It's even harder to encourage others to follow in our footsteps and choose teaching as a career. Yet, we press on and we show up every day because we know what's at stake and we know the children in our communities need us.

This year, we're asking you to post a video and/or pictures of you in your classroom talking about what challenges you face. But, we ask that you balance it out with a conversation about why you love teaching and why others should do as you do and teach! We want to acknowledge the struggle, but remind the world that we love this job and share what's good about it.

We have a stack of #TeachLikeMe t-shirts to give away, so post away as we'll be following the hashtag. As always, thanks for your support!
